Since I know the recent debut of "On the Edge Of Blade Runner" (broadcast this month on Channel 4 in the UK) has excited great attention amongst all BR fans, I wanted to let you and 2019:Off-world know that this first-ever, hour long documentary on the making of our favorite film will be having its American premiere very soon.

I will be hosting this event on July 23, 2000 at the Comic Con International, the world's largest comic book convention. A complete screening of "On the Edge" will take place on the 23rd (Sunday) between 1:00 and 2:30 pm, inside room 6CDEF, at the San Diego Convention Center. The documentary features brand-new interview footage with Ridley Scott, Rutger Hauer, Darryl Hannah, Hampton Fancher and myself. "On the Edge" also marks the first appearance of part of the reconstructed, long-lost "Hospital Scene" (with dialogue), plus Ridley's thoughts on the "Deckard as Replicant" issue - as I'm sure everyone already knows. :)
